When I get the opportunity, I love to sit down and discuss Tolkien with students, friends, and fellow scholars. There are so many different topics to discuss and so many interesting questions to try to answer! On this page are recordings I’ve made of some of these chats. In each case, my partner and I decided in advance on a topic we were both interested in, and then just went wherever the conversation took us.
The first few recordings are of conversations I have had with excellent former students of mine who took my Tolkien course at Washington College. There are also recordings with world-famous Tolkien scholars and my colleagues in the field of Tolkien research. Stay tuned for much more!
